Baltimore's Brewers Hill neighborhood 7 Story Mixed-Use
Operations are in full swing at AVA Brewer Hill in Baltimore, MD. Retana Construction is partnering with AvalonBay Communities on a mixed-use development - a large 7-story, 418-unit luxury apartment with 439,479 SF of residential space, 9,800 SF of amenity space, and 822 SF of retail space.
The project has reached the roof on the first section of the Type IIIA wood-framed building, with final turnover anticipated in August 2027.

- 11,284 SF of retail space
- Podium structure featuring leasing offices and upscale amenities such as a fitness center, clubroom, pet spa, outdoor pool, courtyard, and much more
Over the past 11 months, Retana has made significant progress, beginning exterior framing in early March 2025. We have completed 100% of exterior framing and 95% of interior framing, achieving the construction of 27 stories in just 11 months. Currently, we are preparing to hang drywall on the final level of production—the penthouse units on the 27th floor. With only a few remaining production details, our team is focused on ensuring a smooth turnover to the owner. The schedule has advanced quickly, but our commitment to quality standards has remained unwavering throughout the process.
